Our Spring Self-Publishing Workshop will be this Saturday, April 27th at 11am in the lower level of The Mizzou Store.
The Self-Publishing Workshop will offer consultations for writers and authors of all levels to get their projects off the ground. Whether you are just starting your project, or just need to get it put on paper, our talented design staff will help you create a high quality soft bound book.
The event will also feature two guest speakers offering valuable information about the publishing process, and selling your book as a published author.
Meg Phillips, the author of the witty ZenKinky and the Art of (not finding) Love on the Internet, will join us to talk about how her experiences with online dating led her to author her first book. Phillips will discuss the process of publishing her book, as well as how to effectively market a book as a self-published author.
Chris Willow, who has spoken at previous Self-Publishing Workshops, will join us again this Spring. Willow, The Mizzou Store Books Buyer, will discuss how to market and sell self-published books to book buyers. Willow will also explain how authors can sell books at The Mizzou Store on consignment.

We hope to see you there!
